Mackenzie's Bag Finally Finished!

Yes, it was supposed to be a Christmas present. I had to wrap up an IOU for her. Then, I had to explain what an IOU is to Mackenzie and Hannah!

This is the knitted drawstring bag that I've been making for her. I finished it tonight. Actually did most of it this weekend with all the snow and our conference, I got quite a bit of "knitting time"!

Now I'm off to start on Hannah's.....well, maybe not tonight! :0)

Frosty Look-Alike?

Hmmm.....no top hat. Can't be Frosty. Must be a distant cousin!

The distant cousin snowman in the making!

Phew this one's getting heavy!
Let's trade and you give it a try!
You were right, this one's heavy--no fair!
Phew--this is hard work!

And they think that one is heavy!

Caleb & Biscuit

We let Biscuit out of his home today and he enjoyed some raisins and making Caleb be still!! The spots on the floor are raisins....not anything else, LOL! :0)

Caleb had a hard time being still, but he sure loved Biscuit coming right up to him!!

SNOW in Tennessee!

Can you believe it, the weather people were right.....we got the snow they said we would?!!!

Here are pics of the snow, right outside our front door. I worked really hard to not mess up the beautiful snow. Had to get pics before anyone ventured outside. I'm sure there will be more to post once we go out to play!

Everybody Wants to use Mama's Tub!

Get in line! It's occupied!

It's nice to know that we are housing lots of critters this cold, wet winter!! :0) (Actually this is one smart mouse. Our cat, Mercy was chasing it and chased it right into my tub. Mercy is afraid of the tub, so the mouse thought it was safe. We found it asleep on the pillow.)

Time is up!

NEXT!

Sunset

It was a beautiful sunset last night! We were in Christiana unloading some wood for a barn that David is building.

1st Sewing Project Started......and Finished!

I got a sewing machine for Christmas. I haven't sewed since Jr. High. So, this is a learning process for me. I started my first project tonight and actually finished it! I'm excited. I found these nice bright fabrics for Hannah and Caleb to each have a pillowcase.

Here they are:

Hannah & Caleb's Christmas Presents from Mima & Papaw

Yesterday, finally.....we went to Build-A-Bear Workshop! Caleb was like a kid in a candy shop. He just bounced with his mouth ajar from one area to the next! I did not even try to get my camera out while in there. They were both just busy, busy trying to pick out their animal and then the clothes! It was fun!

Hannah got a kitty. She named her Twinkle.

Caleb got a puppy. He named him Rascal.
