He is LIGHT and LIFE and TRUTH! Look to Him for the ALL the answers. He will guide us, if we'll let Him.

Jesus--the Light of the World!

We've been studying this in Bible this week. Our Scripture Memory verse is:


"I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

John 8:12




Yes, we made 2. Caleb needed his own. We are lighting these at suppertime each night this week.

    I LOVE it! My children have always enjoyed nighttime candle lighting and prayer time. Something about getting to blow the candle out just gets their motors running ;).

    Yep, they are loving it. The only trouble I have is my 17 yr. old pyromaniac--he wants to play with the flame...therefore, he's teaching the littles some very bad and dangerous habits!
    He's learning to restrain himself, though. Everything seems to be a 'teachable moment' in our house. :0)
